Last Minute Halloween Costumes for College Kids on a Budget

Muahahaha! The best time of the year is here. A time for people to pretend to be what they aren't or pretend to be what they truly are like on the inside. Halloween my friends, is today. If you're like me, you either don't have a costume yet or just came up with one five minutes ago (shout out to my fellow procrastinators). For those of you who still can't think of a quick, yet creative, costume, stress no more! Here are some of my picks of the easiest, most cost-friendly costumes:

Risky Business

A classic! All you need are long white socks and a white button down dress shirt. If you don't have these common items, surely a friend or neighbor does. This costume was overused about two years ago but hasn't been seen as much since. It's the simplest costume and works for boys and girls. This is a great costume for girls who want to stray off a bit into the wild side, but still not be too crazy. This look screams "I'm a cool rock n' roll type."

Hole Puncher

For those of you who aren't fans of The Office, Jim (played by John Krazinski) is notorious for his hole puncher costume, one of the easiest costumes in all of costume history. All you'll need is a white button down, black pants, a black tie, and black construction paper. Simply cut out three circles from the construction paper, pin them to one side of your shirt and voila! You're a hole puncher and a great conversation starter for the whole night.

ANDPOP

Mickey or Minnie Mouse

Oh boy oh boy! Why not be the world's favorite mouse? The outfit is simple: wear red and black clothing with mouse ears. If you don't have mouse ears, someone close to you is bound have a pair. A classic!

RATTLE & MOM

Alien

Simple, different, adorable, and totally out of this world. Grab some aluminum foil and coil it up to make yourself some rad antennas! Clip them to a headband or straight on to your hair and you're done! Wear neon, gold, or silver clothes with it and you'll be the extra-terrestrial life of the party!
