If you haven’t watched The West Wing, there’s no way you’ve never heard of it. You’ve at least heard your parents mention it! Or seen it in your Netflix recommendations! The West Wing is a great show to watch in today’s fraught political climate. It’s hopeful and compassionate with actors whose performances strike you right in the box you’ve repressed all your feelings into. It’s a show that withstands the test of time. This article is about the guy who ruined it.

Josh Malina doesn’t actually ruin The West Wing. It just says so in his Twitter bio.
Josh Malina’s twitter is a treasure trove of hilarity, political wit, and Bradley Whitford jokes.

Here’s an example that encompasses all three. Malina jumped aboard the trend of satirizing the #HimToo movement but he couldn’t forget to get in a jab for his good friend (and The West Wing co-star) Bradley Whitford.
Whitford and Malina’s friendly war began back when the two were in the play version of Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men. Malina, on Whitford’s first show night, managed to plaster the inside of the briefcase Whitford would be opening as a prop before his big speech with horrific pornographic images.

The New York Actor’s mischief does not stop with Whitford. Malina is known for pulling pranks on his fellow cast members and the crew. Once he covered a phone in vaseline on the set of The West Wing. During shooting, Allison Janney picked up the phone only to find her hair and hand slippery with vaseline.

Whitford and Malina often go after one another with sharp tongued remarks about the other’s acting (even though, we know they secretly respect one another’s work very much). It would be a strange week if one went by without something snarky going on between the two of them on Twitter. For instance, when certain members of the West Wing cast reunited with Let America Vote to make a video encouraging people to register to vote, Malina joked that he had auditioned for the video. Of course, this prompted Whitford to respond with his own witty comeback.
Hot take: Malina and Whitford are like the funny version of the Damon/Kimmel feud.

Josh Malina’s Twitter hilarity is not confined to his ongoing battle of wits and mischief with Bradley Whitford though. Below is a gallery of some this writer’s recent favorite tweets of his. They’re sure to make you chuckle.
